How do I Request Payments from People on Hangtight?

Whether it is splitting a restaurant bill or reimbursing a friend for buying tickets for the group, you can easily create a Payment Request for group members, even if you do not know everyone’s payment app account.

You can request money from people within any chat using the green payment request button.

The create a request screen pops up where you are able to fill out the total and select the appropriate people.

The total can be split among the selected people or the total can be requested by all involved.

Once you tap create, the payment request will pop up in chat and the people involved will be able to tap it to complete the payment.**

** Hangtight does NOT initiate any payments, it is up to the user to tap on the request and complete it in the respective payment app (Venmo, CashApp)
